I’m Briana (Bree-anna not BREE-AUNA), therapist and owner of Just Be Mental Health. I work with people who are used to being the strong one—the one everyone relies on, the one who keeps going, and the one who doesn’t have time to fall apart.

My practice focuses on first responders, Veterans, and mothers navigating the mental health challenges that can come with demanding careers, service, and major life transitions. I support individuals working through trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, identity and self-worth, career changes, adjustment, and the struggle to balance their own needs with the demands of everyday life.

I bring more than 10 years of experience working with Veterans, along with personal insight into the first responder lifestyle as the wife of a firefighter/paramedic and the realities of motherhood. I understand firsthand how demanding careers, family responsibilities, and constantly caring for others can impact your mental health—and that asking for help isn’t always easy when you’re used to being the one who holds everything together.

Therapy with me is real, practical, compassionate, and honest. I’m not here to judge you, tell you what you want to hear, or sit quietly while you talk in circles. I’ll listen, challenge you when needed, and help you understand what’s keeping you stuck so we can actually do something about it.

Whether you’re carrying the weight of the job, struggling to adjust after service, trying to find yourself in motherhood, or simply realizing that the way you’ve been coping isn’t working anymore—you don’t have to keep doing it alone. You spend enough time taking care of everyone else. It’s okay to make space for you.

You Don’t Have to Keep It Together Here.
